all dogs go to heaven

"One of the saddest things about owning dogs is that their life spans are undeservedly short. Most dogs don't live longer than about twelve years. After all the time, energy, and love you invest in their well-being and all the wonderful and difficult times you've shared, the hardest thing you will ever have to do for your dog is say good-bye."

Nessie
May 27, 1998 - September 8, 2010
No living thing, animal or human, will ever be as loyal, a better friend or deserve my love more than Nessie. If giving up my own life would've saved hers, I would've done it in a heartbeat.
p.s. while I'm on the topic of dogs, Winston Churchill and I have a reminder for anyone who dares to challenge a dawg: "The nose of the bulldog has been slanted backwards so that he can breathe without letting go." One day, hopefully soon, UGA will live up to such expectations
